The Vinschgau Cycle Path is one of South Tyrol’s most beautiful routes, running from the source of the Adige River at Lake Resia all the way to Merano. Right at the beginning, the famous church tower rising out of the lake impresses – one of South Tyrol’s best-known landmarks. From there, the route leads gently downhill through wide orchards, historic villages, and past castles and fortresses, always accompanied by views of the Ortler mountain group.
The route from Marlengo to Caldaro leads through sunny vineyards, past picturesque villages, and along the South Tyrolean Wine Road. The destination is Lake Caldaro, one of the warmest bathing lakes in the Alps, where you can round off your tour with a refreshing dip or a glass of Kalterersee wine.
The Bike Highline Merano is a true highlight for mountain bikers – a panoramic route high above the Merano valley. At over 1,400 meters, it connects several alpine huts and trails between Naturno and Vigiljoch, offering breathtaking views of the Adige Valley and the Texel Group. Demanding, varied, and scenically spectacular.
Cycling from Vöran to Leadner Alm and on to Wurzer Alm offers a tour full of nature, wide views, and pure enjoyment. Scenic paths lead through larch forests and alpine meadows, always accompanied by panoramic views of the Texel Group and the Adige Valley. Whether relaxed with an e-bike or sporty with pure muscle power – at the top, South Tyrolean delicacies and homemade cakes await you in the mountain huts.
